Barbershop on Call Lane, Leeds
Old school craft.
Sharp modern cuts.
Four chairs, dark wood and brass on Call Lane. Skin fades, classic cuts, beards and hot towel shaves, done by barbers who served proper apprenticeships.
Proper apprenticeships
Every barber here learned the trade the long way, chair by chair. No academy weekend warriors.
Fades to classic cuts
A tight skin fade or a clean classic cut, we do both with the same care. You leave sharp, not rushed.

The shop
It feels like the shop looks
Dark wood, exposed brick and brass. Four chairs, a proper mirror at each one, and the low hum of clippers.
We built Fade and Steel to feel like an old barbershop that knows what it is doing, with cuts that are bang up to date. Moody, not fussy. Masculine, not a parody.
