Vintage barber chairs in the shop

The team

Three barbers, one standard

We all served proper apprenticeships and we all still learn. No academy weekend warriors here.

At the chairs

Who is cutting

Ask for anyone by name, or take the first chair that opens up.

Cal Docherty

Owner, 15 years

Cal owns the shop and works the chairs like everyone else. Fifteen years in, strongest on fades and classic work.

Marcus Bell

Beards and shaves

Marcus runs the straight razor. Beard shaping, hot towel shaves and lines you could set a square to.

Ollie Trent

Junior barber

Ollie is our junior and coming on fast. Calm hands, great with kids, and keen to earn every cut.

How we learned it

The trade, the long way

None of us bought a certificate on a weekend. We swept floors, watched, and cut under someone who would tell us straight when it was wrong.

That is why a cut here holds up. The person at your chair has put in the hours, and they are still putting them in.

Come and meet us

Walk in when the light is on, or ring ahead and ask for a barber by name.
